Discover Engaging Club Initiatives

Ensuring children graduate high school on time is crucial for their future. We provide year-round homework help and engaging summer programs. STEM activities foster curiosity and problem-solving, while our literacy programs enhance reading and writing skills for academic success.

Our Workforce Readiness program provides middle and high school Club members with essential skills and resources for post-high school success, supported by local foundations and businesses that offer tours and job insights to emphasize the importance of graduating.

Programs empower youth to support their community, build relationships, develop self-image, engage in democracy, respect cultural identities, and participate in the Youth of the Year competition, where Cedar Rapids has produced eight winners, including one national winner.

These programs foster creativity and self-expression through arts and crafts, performances, and dance, with activities supported by partners like the Eastern Iowa Arts Academy.

Programs that promote & support positive behaviors, goal-setting, and self-sufficiency in youth, including Chef's Club activities where kids learn to cook healthy meals and other Health & Wellness initiatives that support mental well-being.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Corridor offer programs that promote physical fitness, stress coping, and social skills, with sports and recreational activities for kids to stay active and have fun.
